Pour 64 oz of boiling distilled water over ½ -1 cup of herbs. Steep for 10 minutes up to 12 hours then strain thoroughly. Wait until infusion has reached a safe and comfortable temperature. Pour into sitz bath and soak affected area for 15-20 minutes. Strained infusion can be refrigerated for 2-3 days and reheated (do not boil) to a safe and comfortable temperature for immediate use.
